As part of the Un fiume di note music festival, which celebrates the union of music and landscape along the Brenta River, Villa Widmann is pleased to host a special evening with the Senior Choir of the British School of Brussels.

Founded in 2006, the BSB Senior Choir is now considered one of the most accomplished youth choirs in the international school scene. Composed of talented students – many of whom are enrolled in academic music courses – the choir represents the musical excellence of the prestigious British school based in Brussels.

The ensemble is known for its high vocal quality and wide-ranging repertoire, which includes jazz classics such as I’ve Got You Under My Skin, Come Fly with Me, and My Funny Valentine, as well as emotionally powerful contemporary pieces like Fix You, Chasing Cars, and Easy on Me.

The choir regularly performs at prestigious venues – including embassies, the Belgian Senate, and international festivals – and was recently selected among 28 groups out of 177 to take part in the final concert of a major music competition. Their performance was praised for its “superb cohesion,” “bright diction,” and “perfect intonation.”

The ensemble is conducted by Christi-Ann Nancarrow, BSB’s Director of Music, who has passionately led the group since its founding in 2006.

The concert will take place in the Campiello of Villa Widmann on Tuesday, 24 June, starting at 8:30 PM.
Admission is free while seats last. In case of bad weather, the concert will be held indoors.
